The Bostock Band are very pleased to announce a new association with Great Budworth Real Dairy Ice Cream.
Following a successful 'Brass and Baggin' evening (brass and food to those outside Cheshire) the band were approached by Bob and June Wilkinson, Managing Directors of Great Budworth Real Dairy Ice Cream who offered a sponsorship deal to the band. Both The Bostock Band and Great Budworth Real Dairy Ice Cream consider the package advantageous, with Great Budworth Real Dairy Ice Cream benefiting from increased advertising and prestige.
The company is based at New Westage Farm in Great Budworth, where supreme quality ice cream is homemade. A brand new cafe, opened in July 2003, complements the company premises. Here customers can enjoy a cone of ice cream in many mouthwatering flavors, or purchase cartons to take away. The cafe now boasts an extensive tea and coffee menu and, located in the heart of scenic Cheshire, is the ideal location for either a warming winter hot drink or a cooling summer ice cream.
The Bostock Band were pleased to be in attendance at the opening of the cafe, playing a selection of music including the aptly named Great Budworth Fanfare and Meditation, an original composition by Claire Pownall, first performed in the local St Mary's Church.
The cafe is open from 1st April to 31st October daily between 12 noon and 6pm, and weekends only between 1pm and dusk during March, November and December.
